Dian Griesel - Founder and CEO

Dian Griesel, Ph.D. is the founder and CEO of The Investor Relations Group.  She is also the author of UNCAPPED:  A Critical Workbook for Officers of Publicly Traded Companies; Capitalization Success and The 101 Platinum-Plus Rules of Media Engagement.

Dian has over twenty-five years experience in marketing, investor and public relations, professional writing and sponsorship. 

Dian has written articles on a variety of topics that have appeared in Kennedy’s Investor Relations Newsletter, Equities, The New York Times, The Daily News, Investor’s Business Daily, Crain’s Weekly, Crain’s Japanese Weekly, Mademoiselle, Vogue, Health, Better Bodies, PR News Report, and Your Health.   She is a frequent keynote speaker at  conferences and is regularly quoted in the media.

Immediately prior to launching IRG, Dian worked with Paramount BioCapital, Inc., a biotechnology investment/merchant bank.  She has held Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Before Paramount, Dian worked for five years as a nutritionist and stress management counselor in private counseling practice, while also serving as a part-time continuing education faculty member for the City University of New York and the New York Open Center.  During that period she wrote three books on health and nutrition, and appeared as a consulting health expert on all the daytime news and talk shows that filmed in NYC. Dian owns or has owned businesses in the health, stress management, publishing, automotive, entertainment and fashion industries. In June 2006, Dian was elected to the Board of Directors of The American Heart Association.
