Princeton Pharma Firm Signs Three-Year, $15M Deal

Derma Sciences Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of advanced wound care products in Princeton, has finalized a contract with a leading global health care products company to produce finger bandages. In a news release Tuesday, the company said the agreement will generate approximately $15 million in new revenue for Derma over a three-year period beginning in the spring.

The company said Derma will manufacture the bandages for the partner company, which was not disclosed, and the products will be sold under that partner's label. Daniel Rivest, president of the first aid division of Derma, credited the deal to his company's "recent manufacturing facility expansion."

Derma's chief executive, Ed Quilty, said, "The market can expect to see additional expansion of our private-label manufacturing to compliment our efforts in building our proprietary advanced wound care sales."
