Sanswire Announces Full-Year 2009 Results
Sanswire Corp. (OTC.BB:SNSR) today announced that it has filed with the United States Securities & Exchange Commission its annual report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2009.
For the year-ended December 31, 2009, the Company reported a net loss of $9.4 million, or $0.04 per share, with no revenue, compared to a net loss of $4.6 million, or $0.03 per share, with no revenue for the year-ended December 31, 2008.
The net loss for 2009 is attributed to an operating loss during the year of $7.6 million, compared to an operating loss of $3.2 million for 2008, to interest-related expenses of $1.2 million compared to interest-related expenses of $1.1 million for 2008, and to $1.2 million related to derivative financial instruments, compared to a slight gain from derivative financial instruments of $375,166 for 2008.
